About FESP and
The School Process
24th May
I would like to
present some progress of the English school for disadvantaged children in
Cambodia. Both pictures are about their English test and their trip to
Angkor group after the test, which was sponsored by Mr. GREG OcKenden,
Sydney, Australia.
By the new teaching
book called NEW HEADWAY (www.oup.com/elt),
the student’s reading and speaking skill is very much improved. Actually in
May 13 2006, we gave an exam. It was a survey of their grammar knowledge,
their reading, speaking and writing. There are 80% of them pass the exam
with a very good result. So. if we compare it to the previous exam, then we
find another 15% get increased.
But however, it is a
shame that we can not keep all the students in the class. So far, there are
some students decided to leave school for work in the farm and then get pay
for their families to get food. How can we change? Accept their services
while you travel through their village.
